Our foundation has close contact with various schools in the Netherlands. They set up an initiative every year: youth interacting.. In this way they make it possible for us to carry out projects. But there is also room for interns in Casa Ellen!
In Casa Ellen, in the beautiful city of Constanta, we have room for two interns. For example, are you studying Social Work? Then we definitely welcome you!You can always start your internship, for a period of 3 months. We are a Recognised Training Company and offer an apartment on site.
The city of Constanta is a beautiful city and 7 KM away you will find the seaside resort of Mamaia. Mamaia is a lively seaside resort with great nightlife, cozy terraces and many sports activities. The old town exudes a beautiful atmosphere! Perfect for a fun and educational traineeship!
The schools organise various campaigns every year to raise money for the school in Siret and the walk-in centre in Constanta. In this way, the youth in the Netherlands and the youth in Romania contribute to a fair chance of good education. For the schools participating in the campaign, it is possible to make a project trip to our complex. This way, students can see for themselves how their collected money is spent.
A broad programme is offered, allowing students to interact with the local population and peers as much as possible. It’s a 5-day programme. The trip is paid for by the students themselves. After every trip, we learn that the students are so impressed by how their peers live in a former Eastern Bloc country.
Curious what the journey looks like? The programme is outlined below. In consultation with the school, the project trip can be adapted to the study programme of the students involved.
Day 1
On the first day, the students arrive in Romania. After arrival, they visit various sights to experience the culture of the country.
Day 2
On the second day, the students visit their peers. Here, they experience the living conditions in Romania. We go camping together.
Day 3 and 4
We spend day 3 and 4 at camp and we offer a varied programme.
Day 5
Back to the Netherlands.
